Dear Valued Customer, in an effort to improve our services we plan to do a control panel upgrade this Sunday Feb. 14th at 2 pm EST. The upgrade consist of some minor bug fixes and a few improvements as well. We estimate the upgrade will take 4 hours and during this time the control panel system will be offline. All hosting services including email and websites will not be affected during this time as the upgrade only consist of control panel fixes. All server related package upgrades have already been completed and only the control panel upgrade remains. Do your applications change your file permissions?

Web scripts like Joomla will sometimes change ownership to httpd:httpd and you can no longer access the files via ftp. Now in your Linux accounts you will find a new tool under ‘Domain Settings’ called ‘File Ownership”. Running new tool will give the files back to your control as user:group.
Beware of any subftp accounts they will need to be set back up manually.
